We will learn a variety of practices drawn from Buddhist psychology as well as neuroscience and contemporary psychology to help us establish the habit of noticing what is good in our lives.
As the retreat closes, we explore the last step in Awakening Joy: "The Joy of Simply Being". Instead of cultivating a particular state like gratitude or compassion, this final step is more a non-doing and allowing your natural state of ease and relaxation to shine through. Trust and learning to listen are valuable by products. Also practical suggestions for keeping your practice vibrant and strong are offered.
