On this day of Insight Meditation practice, we will learn how to relate to ourselves wisely, lovingly and skillfully. We will try to weaken the unwise and unkind ways that we often relate to ourselves. Finally, we will understand that everything is marked by non-self. seeing through the illusion of self we can see through the illusion of the so-called "other".
This talk examines ways that the dharma can support two key developmental tasks of adolescence: exploring the nature of happiness and developing a healthy sense of self without getting stuck in it.
We review the Four Foundations with continued emphasis on the Fourth, including attention to a number of practical situations. Pt 1 of 2.
